Eurachem announces online General Assembly

GA2020 iconEurachem has elected to reschedule its General Assembly for 2020 as an online event, between 27-28 May 2020. This first online GA will be kindly hosted by Eurachem Romania, the hosts for the 2020 Eurachem Week.

Brief additional details can be found on the corresponding Calendar page; participants will be notified of sign-in details directly in due course.

Eurachem 2019/20 Newsletter available for download

nl33 80The Winter 2019-20 Eurachem Newsletter is now available to download in PDF format [1.7 Mb]. Printed copies will also be available through National members.This year's issue includes articles on updated Guides, Supplementary guidance and news from all our working groups and from national Eurachem members.

Cancellation: May 2020 General Assembly and Workshop "Quality Assurance in the University Curriculum"

Event CancelledOwing to restrictions on travel and other measures in place to reduce the spread of Covid-19, Eurachem regret to announce that it will not be possible to hold either the Eurachem General Assembly or the workshop "Quality assurance for analytical laboratories in the university curriculum" on the planned dates of 25-29 May 2020. These dates have therefore been cancelled.

Eurachem will be considering alternative arrangements, including later dates, for the GA and the Workshop and will update members as and when further information becomes available.

Italian and Swedish translations for new PT leaflets

Italian and Swedish flagsThe Eurachem PT Working Group has published translations of two recent Information Leaflets. Our Information leaflet on investigating poor results in PT is now available in Italian and Swedish, and our leaflet on use of surplus PT materials is now additionally available in Swedish. Both leaflets give short advice to help laboratories get the best from PT.
