Thanks to our colleagues in Estonia, two further Eurachem Information Leaflets are now additionally available in Estonian. The new Estonian translations are the information leaflet "Treatment of an uncorrected bias", and "Using repeated measurements to improve the standard uncertainty".
Eurachem's measurement uncertainty and traceability working group has launched a survey to learn more about how different people view the often difficult topic of metrological traceability. Responses will help Eurachem understand differing views and improve future Eurachem guidance.

Thanks to the efforts of our Eurachem colleagues in Georgia, the Eurachem Education and training Working Group's information leaflet giving an overview of the main changes in the 2017 version of ISO/IEC 17025 is now available in Georgian
Thanks to our colleagues at EURACHEM-ČR, the Eurachem information leaflet "Setting Target Measurement Uncertainty" is now additionally available in Czech. The leaflet gives a short introduction to the importance of the topic of target measurement uncertainty.
CITAC, in conjunction with IUPAC, are pleased to announce the IUPAC/CITAC Workshop on "Quality of Test Results for Conformity Assessment
of a Chemical Composition: What is Good and What is Bad?"
The main goal of the workshop is discussion of the quality parameters of test (chemical analytical) results in pharmaceutical industry, environmental analysis, metallurgy and other fields, necessary for conformity assessment of a material or object.

Thanks to our Italian colleages and the EURACHEM Proficiency Testing Working Group, the information leaflet "Proficiency testing - how much and how often?" is now available in Italian. The leaflet helps laboratories select the right balance of areas of work and participation frequency.
Thanks to an outstanding effort by our Russian colleagues, the well-known Eurachem/CITAC Guide "Quantifying Uncertainty in Analytical Measurement" (3rd edition) is now available in Russian.

Thanks to our Eurachem colleagues in Spain, the information leaflet, "Setting Target Measurement Uncertainty", which gives a short introduction to the importance of the topic, is now available in Spanish.
The Eurachem Education and training Working Group has published a new Information leaflet giving an overview of the main changes in the 2017 version of ISO/IEC 17025 - General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories. The new Standard has a revised structure, including different management system options. There is a new emphasis on "risks and opportunities", clearer reference to sampling activities, new requirements around conformity assessment and a new emphasis on metrological traceability.
The new leaflet is currently available in English, Spanish and Bulgarian, with other translations planned.
