Thanks to our colleagues in Iran, our PT WG are pleased to say that the popular leaflet "Selecting the right proficiency testing scheme for my laboratory" is now available in Farsi as well as 13 European languages.
The Eurachem/CITAC measurement and traceability working group are delighted to announce that, thanks to hard work by our colleagues in Ukraine, the second edition of our guide "Use of uncertainty information in compliance assessment" is now available in Ukrainian.
This second edition take into account the developments in other international guides and Standards, including ILAC G8, "Guidelines on Decision Rules and Statements of Conformity" and JCGM 106, "Evaluation of measurement data – The role of measurement uncertainty in conformity assessment".
Eurachem and the Europe Section of AOAC International are pleased to announce that on 25 November 2021, Vicki Barwick (Eurachem Chair) and Dr Thomas Gude (President of Europe Section of AOAC International) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), with the aim of fostering closer links and providing opportunities for collaboration between the two organisations.

Thanks to our colleagues in Iran, the Eurachem method Validation Working group is pleased to announce the publication of a Farsi translation of the Information Leaflet introducing method validation. The new leaflet gives a brief introduction to the overall process of validation, shows the key performance characteristics to be studied, and provides pointers to more detailed guidance.
Thanks to some great work by our colleagues in Eurolab Germany, we are pleased to say that Eurachem now has THREE new German translations of different information leaflets. The leaflets newly available in German are "What is the uncertainty factor?", covering a useful method of summarising large relative uncertainties; the recent second edition of our leaflet "Use of uncertainty information in compliance assessment"; and the introductory leaflet "The importance of method validation".
