New Supplementary guidance - Planning Validation Studies

mv pln coverThe Eurachem Method Validation Working Group has published a new supplement to our guide on  Method validation, covering the planning and reporting of validation studies. The supplement is in the form of a template for planning the evaluation of chosen performance characteristics. Once the experimental work has been completed, the template can be easily converted into a validation report. The supplement also contains a checklist to assist with validation planning..

Eurachem 2019 Measurement Uncertainty Workshop - Full programme available

The programme includes presentations on accreditation issues and on taking account of measurement uncertainty in decision rules for conformity assessment. The workshop is kindly hosted by BAM at BAM headquarters, Unter den Eichen, Berlin, Germany,on 19-20 November 2019.

Eurachem guide "Setting Target Measurement Uncertainty" available in Spanish

stmu t80ESThanks to hard work from our colleagues at Eurachem-España and Eurolab-España, the Eurachem guide "Setting and Using Target Uncertainty in Chemical Measurement" is now available for download from the Eurachem site in Spanish.

The guide shows how to set a maximum admissible uncertainty, or “target uncertainty”, to check whether the measurement uncertainty is fit for the intended purpose.
