Third edition of "Quantifying Uncertainty" published

Monte Carlo uncertainty evaluationThe Eurachem Measurement Uncertainty and Traceability Working Group is pleased to announce the publication of the Third Edition of the Eurachem/CITAC Guide "Quantifying Uncertainty in Analytical Measurement".

The new version is closely consistent with the Second edition, but adds new material on

  • Expression of uncertainty near zero;
  • Monte Carlo methods for uncertainty evaluation;
  • Use of proficiency testing data:
  • Compliance of results with measurement uncertainty.
